spring fever

with these freakishly warm temperatures (I'm not complaining) in NYC lately, I've been cravingggg fresh manicures. 

For a while I was borderline addicted to shellac - but my bank account was not. So, I've become quite good at painting my own claws.

This week alone, I have bought 2 new Essie colors, and Tamra has generously lent me THREE! Woa. This girl is one happy camper.

Below are the new colors. What do you think? 

I need to paint them before I had home to Chicago today. Any thoughts on which color?

    Secret Story is my kind of color, so I would pick that one! I'm also intrigued by that peachy Tart Deco one.

    It's been freakishly warm here in Columbus, OH too. It's mid-60s and raining here! I'm heading to DC tomorrow and I need to pick a nail polish color to put on. Ah, choices.

    Absolutely Shore is on-par with the mint trend...and Cute as a Button is one of my all-times favorites (with sparkles, of course). Great selection!

    Oooh I love Absolutely Shore! but let's be honest, I'd take any of those colors. Topless and Barefoot is the perfect wedding-pink (very Ever Swoon!)

    I am loving Absolutely Shore for the transitional weather, but it's supposed to be in the high 60s next week (WHAT?) so I would have to go with Cute as a Button. But honestly I'd take them all. How sweet is Tamra?

    I'm trying sooo hard to get better at doing my own nails! But I'm awful.
    I just had shellac - 2 nails came off early and I had to get them fixed but I would definitely get it again for a trip.
