apartment help: jewelry organization

I have a problem.

I'm addicted to jewelry.

Baubles? Yes please.
Delicate pieces? Duh.
Costume jewelry? Obviously.

But after moving, and realizing my organization system was NOT okay (an entire drawer filled with bags, boxes etc) I need to change things up in my next place.

Help me decide? Aw, thanks for saying yes!

a girl can dream of a space like this...

What system would you use? I'm leaning towards everyday objects - so fun, and unique.

  1. I like the everyday objects and the little framing portrait (image #3). Did you see Jess Constable's use of a shadowbox? The only problem for me is that I wear a lot of stud earrings, so I'm not sure how to hang those.

Let us know what you decide!

  2. I just moved and am trying to tackle the same problem! I was thinking of doing something similar to the frame above with the necklaces hanging across it. And as of right now I have all of my bracelets in Anthropologie bowls similar to the ones in the second photo and that works pretty well. Good luck with your organizing! :)

  3. I'm with you! my jewelry is ALL over the place! I may just need that entire furniture piece to get it all organized ;)

  7. I love the unique displays on the rods where everything is out in the open! they also sell these amazing closet hangers that hold soooo much stuff if you are interested in that? not pretty, but I found them on open sky (suze's shop I think?) or.... a practical solution: build a giant dream closet. i like that open best :)

  8. For my inexpensive/less delicate/costume jewelry, I use decorative plates, bowls, and ring boxes from C. Wonder. And I actually hang my necklaces and some bracelets on the inside door of my armoire so that they don't get tangled. I would LOVE to have one of those dream spaces though!
