cheers!

It's no surprise that I am obsessed with Society Social

I posted about it here...and here...and here.

The best part? Ms. Roxy - the lady behind all the brilliance and booze, has become a dear friend of mine, and kindly featured my pieces in the newest Manifesto Magalog

Pop the champagne, and celebrate with me!

I was so in love with the Marilyn Chair and #livesparkly pillow, that I knew they had to be mine.

Here they are in my old NYC apartment, and as featured in the magalog.

And, here they are in my new Chicago apartment! They are the happiest pair, and I know they'll stay with me for a long time.

Now pour yourself a drink (even if it's 9am and you're at your desk),  and curl up with the newest magalog.  I promise you won't be disappointed.

time to burrow and booze

It's cold.

I never want to get out of bed in the morning.

I just want to burrow in my sheets and never come out.

snap back to reality Julia!  Okay, so since I can't just hide out all winter long, I've decided it is the perfect season to burrow (when you can, after work) and booze (in a classy manner of course).

After having a lovely evening with Roxy of Society Social, I've really decided that I need to make one of her bar carts my own. I'm inspired by the retro vibe that the carts give, and that they instantly take a room from dull to glamourous. I'm also obsessed with having one as an end table. There really isn't a bad way to style them.

Now on to more important things. Which color? Style? So many options!

Here is some inspiration...what do you all think lovely socials?

Now if only it were Friday and I could happily burrow up with The Hunger Games, and a bottle of wine.

Wish List

Hi my name is Julia and I'm addicted to shopping. However, my first job out of college doesn't quite fuel this addiction as I would have hoped. But I can breathe a brief sigh of relief - my birthday is next month, and Christmas soon after. So, I've begun my "wish list". Here are a few items I'm currently coveting.

1. Equipment Blouse
2. Kate Spade necklace
3. Kate Spade ring
4. Customized iPhone cover
5. Society Social Double Bar Cart
6. Magazine subscriptions
7. West Elm ottoman (or similar)
8. Society Social Marilyn Chair
9. Cocoa and Hearts painting
