I was reading Lucky Magazine this weekend and saw a blurb about Splendid and their new body line. 

Whaaaaaaaat!?

Yes. The t-shirt company we know and love, now has a body line that is supposed to make your skin feel as soft as their clothes.

Have any of you tried their products yet? I'm just dying to get my hands on the body butter.

I've done some shopping lately, and just had to share my purchases with you. They are all super affordable, and have made this month oh-so-perfect. 

Essie Nail Polish in Waltz - the perfect opaque white shade for summer.

Bare Minerals "Pretty Amazing" lip color in Ambition - the pink gloss I've been dreaming of.

Moroccan Oil Shampoo - lives up to ALL the hype. I've never loved my hair more.

Xen-Tan - the absolute best non-smelling sunless tanner. Works like a charm, and gradually tans you. Highly recommend.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Aviators - feminine aviators that are one of my favorite purchases in a while.

Lori's Shoes Spiked Bracelet- the greatest addition to all my arm parties.

winter essentials

Now that NYC has seen temperatures below freezing (ick), I'm stocking up on my favorite winter beauty products. My skin gets SUPER dry in the winter, and I find myself constantly reapplying moisturizer. I always carry hand lotion on me, as well as Kleenex (let's be honest -- dripping noses are NOT cute).

Here are some other beauty products that I urge you all to try. They are my go-to products, and I swear by each of them.

1. Chanel Base Lumière -- provides an excellent base for all your make up products. 
2. Kiehl's Hand Salve -- the best hand lotion that I've found. I've used it for years.
3. Kate Spade Makeup bag (similar) -- obviously you have to store your products in a cute bag.
4. Kai Body Butter -- a cream that hydrates all day and smells divine.
5. Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer -- lightweight formula that hydrates immediately.
6. Amika Oil Treatment -- tames your fly-aways, and gives your hair a non-oily shine.
7. Malin+Goetz Lip Moisturizer -- I have this everywhere. Next to my bed, in my purse, at my desk. Super glossy and hydrating.
8. Kleenex
9. Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara in Noir Intense -- the ONLY mascara I will wear.

Ever since I signed up for Birchbox (my obsession), I've been addicted to trying new beauty products. Below are some of my current faves. I don't usually rave about products like this, but I seriously think EVERYONE should try at least one of these -if not all (they aren't all exactly budget friendly...eek).

1. Best. Deodorant. Ever.
2. 8 Stila lipglosses for the price of one. Need I say more?
3. Most amazing eye cream (not that I really need it -- I had a sample and I was hooked - now cannot afford)
4. Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo -- when you're feeling lazy.
5. Clark's Botanicals Face Mask -- my skin has never felt better
6.  Amika Oil Treatment for your hair -- NOT OILY. Amazing. Obsessed.
